Job Description

We’re a diverse, passionate team dedicated to providing innovative solutions. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Simplesat, you will own the AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, cost-effectiveness, and top-notch security and performance. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our culture and infrastructure as we grow.

In this position, you'll find yourself collaborating with developers and product owners in an agile environment that values your expertise and creative contributions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and configure AWS services to meet business process and application requirements.
Manage, support and troubleshoot Docker container configuration.
Incident and change management, health, and performance monitoring - check server health, performance, and capacity alerts, take preventive and remedial action.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business and customer needs, providing expertise in infrastructure scalability and stability.
Research and development of infrastructure service improvements to help drive efficiency improvements and provide a vision for the team.

Primary Technologies

Core AWS services
Docker containerization with ECS/EC2
Core Cloudflare services

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems.
Experience in building and maintaining AWS services, including application readiness assessment, server builds, data migration and performance tuning in cloud environments.
Experience in operating CI/CD using Docker, Terraform, Jenkins and scripting language.
Experience in building systems using microservices and tools like React JS, Typescript, and Django.
Experience in queueing messages and message brokers.
Ability to read, write, and converse in English

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure or related role, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure, including design, implementation, and optimization.
Ability to work independently, managing projects with minimal supervision and collaborating with a distributed team.
