Main Responsibilities
1. Implement the relevant Covestro regulation to ensure the compliance of all PCT installations and equipment with the legal electrical requirements.
2. Perform on a regular base the electrical supervision in units regarding explosion hazard protection and safe operation.
3. Manage, conduct and lead by example for a daily maintenance, plant improvement and TA jobs according to the specification and company standard.
4. Assist the Maintenance PCT manager to obtain and to maintain the required availability of the PCT equipment.
5. Control and organize the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance according to the schedule or plan.
6. Control and update the maintenance PCT documentation. (including SPI, SPE, U-schemes, etc.)
7. Provide all necessary technical information to the Maintenance PCT manager and troubleshooting with maintenance PCT team to enhance plant reliability.
8. Plan and manage maintenance activities to ensure that all PCT equipment are functioning properly, safely and cost effectively.
9. Train and coach all PCT Supervisors to ensure their people knowledge and skills able to execute all maintenance jobs and reliability jobs to meet with the best practices and company standard.
10. Improve the communication contacts with technical plant, production, contractors and execution teams to enhance the work relation and effectiveness.
11. Execute and update troubleshooting steps for all PLC’s package units.

General Responsibilities
1. Maintain Company Health and Safety standards/regulations to minimize the risk to themselves and other persons.
2. Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner and promote a good image of the company.
3. Ensure that all requests or instructions as conveyed by the management; in relation to duties, policies and procedures are completely carried out.
4. Support and actively contribute to the development of Covestro MTP initiatives such as WUMC/Project APACT, DEI, additional assignments and special projects.
5. Comply with Covestro’s Corporate Compliance program and observe its principles in daily work.
6. Support Covestro-MTP Management Systems activities such as Core processes, HSEQ system, 5S System, and Suggestion System.
7. Demonstrate and develop subordinates in Covestro leadership behavior in order to nurture the mind-set and encourage the desired leadership behavior.
Qualifications
▪ Bachelor degree or master in Instrument&Control engineering or related field.
▪ At least 8-10 years of experience in the maintenance of Instrument&Control.
▪ Strong analytical skills of troubleshooting in the maintenance work.
▪ Comprehensive knowledge of PCT instrumentation, DCS systems and PLC’s.
▪ Ability to lead and support of technical knowledge and documentation.
▪ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
▪ Good motivation, coaching, organization and time management skills.
▪ Application of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
