Job Description:
Our client is a Leader of the production and operation in the oiland gas, they are looking for a contractor 3 years in “Technician, Electricaland Instrumentation (FSO)”, working as a rotation: in the Gulf of Thailand.
Job Responsibilities:
Receive daily work orders from Supervisor. Monitor the FSO2 electrical and instrument equipmentperformance and complete log sheets. Execute electrical and instrument preventive and correctivemaintenance of main/emergency electric power generation and distributionsystems, electrical transformer, battery, ventilation & HVAC, Provisionrefrigeration systems, CCTV system, communication & internet system,conventional instrumentation, fire and gas systems : ESD logics control systemsand condensate loading & offloading metering system, hydraulic PLEM valvesystem as per schedule and job cards, and in accordance with the Chief Engineer(FSO)’sinstructions. Report on spare part and consumable requirement and suggestimprovement for the schedule and the frequency of preventive maintenance. Troubleshooting faults and carry out repair by usingavailable tools and control equipment, drawings, diagrams, and venders’ manuals. Carry out electrical isolation as per electrical isolationpermit procedures. Complete electrical and instrument maintenance logbook, workorder summary reports, daily time sheets and submit to Chief Engineer (FSO). Draft work requests and requisitions concerning maintenanceand supply of consumables and submit to Chief Engineer (FSO) for approvalincluding update on spare part inventory. Supervise the engine room workactivities which carry out by contractor. Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policy, rules,and regulations to all work under responsibility. Emergency Response Tasks:
Act as a fire team member for electrical isolation,ventilation isolation and control & Operate Foam Pump and isolate the electrical power forbattery charger of lifeboat when ship’s abandon. Act as command team member in FSO2 Cargo Control Room, toconduct on log event record. Qualifications:
Thai national only. Technical Diploma in Electrical, Instrument or related fieldplus 2-years formal E&I training. Possess a suitable certificate of Electrical safety. 5 years’ experience in maintenance of electrical andinstrumentation equipment in oil and gas industry. 5 years’ experience as electrician on ship powered by mainpropulsion machinery of 3000kW or more. Field working experience is required in instrumentation,electrical/hydraulic/ pneumatic control system. Fair command of both spoken and written English. Certificate Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Tropical Basic Offshore SafetyInduction & Emergency Training or Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training(BOSIET) or Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET). Valid medical reports with fit-to[1]work results. Basic Fire Fighting Training. Basic First Aid Training. Rigging Slinging & Lifting Operation (Signaler &Rigger) Training. Confine Space Training.
