Job Purpose

Leading and managing the Financial and business planning process with all areas of the company, promoting challenging/stretch, business-supported targets.

Providing insightful business analyses and interpretation to management to drive decision-making.

Managing and executing overall finance and accounting functions, be responsible for month end and year end closing as well as preparing related reports and Financial Statements.

Major Accountabilities

Month-end and Year End closing process

  • Drive the closing process and manage the accounting team to ensure closing activities are performed within the deadlines.

    Responsible for timely and accurate submissions of month and year end closing as per timeline.
  • Monitor and review GL reconciliations and ensure quality of accounts reconciliation and timely resolution of aged and reconciled items
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities such as transactions, reconciliations, closing and reporting against established KPIs and in compliance with local financial SOPs and STADA Corporate policies
  • Responsible for Year-end close planning and reporting.

    Monitor and analyse financial data, establish and enforce proper accounting controls over provisions and different year end close activities in line with STADA guidelines

    • Planning & Reporting:

  • Full ownership for Monthly management reporting and submission – P&L, balance sheet, performance commentaries preparation and responsible for analysing variance analysis;
  • Responsible for annual budgeting and forecasting process and formulate financial targets/plans in connection stakeholders to deliver relevant reporting of financial data analytics, monthly reports, key financial metrics.
  • Provide analytics support to regional management decisions.

    • Audit, Tax & Treasury:

  • Cooperate with account and finance team to ensure successfully of external and internal auditors during year-end audit.

    Drive and manage audit deadlines, fieldwork and findings
  • Lead and implement VAT and Corporate Tax for STADA Thailand.

    Support and monitor quarterly and yearly filings and submissions.
  • Monitor Treasury related transactions with Group and external banks.

    • Other accountabilities

  • Act as Business partnership to General Manager and Commercial team for new project investment to drive growing Thailand business.

  • Link information across functions to drive planning and forecasting
  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis process to ensure timely and professional financial inputs translated into business insights to support management/business decision.
  • Risk analysis and management.
  • Internal control and be coordinator for audits

    Professional Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Deep knowledge of how SAP and reporting systems integrate with other applications to meet reporting needs
  • Highly proficient knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and chart of account
  • Ability to achieve tight deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Hand-on, Solution-oriented mind-set.

    • Education :

    MBA (desirable), bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

    Languages:

    Thai, English (Fluent)

    Experience:

    Preferably 8 years of finance experience with FP&A experience
